AID-BOT

By Jojo Rosenbluth and Liam Ferris

Problem: Aid is not being distributed to refugees effectively.

Solution: We designed a system that makes use of Amazon Drone and Tacobot technology to deliver exactly what refugee families need directly to their locations.

Precedents:

Tacobot allows people to order tacos from Taco Bell by texting with a computer on the app Slack.

Our Precedents

Our Precedents

After making our first prototype, we did a conference call with Pam Scheideler, the chief digital officer for Deutsch, the company behind Tacobot. On the conference call was also Martin Legowiecki, the project lead for Tacobot. They told us to use as many pictures as possible, as we want our app to be accessible to people who speak many different languages. They also told us to use photo.io to make our app.

For our second prototype, we made a model of our app. Here is a link to our app: https://pr.to/Q74ZPK/ .

We also made a logo for our company.

This was our first idea. We decided not to use it because it was too intricate and colorful.
